now back from my little break

I am one of those fortunate few who gets to visit Hawaii for work (and a side of R&R) - that is why I have been MIA since last week. But I am back to my favorite game. I missed my deals and I missed my coupons. Before I go back to the deals - Id like to share some pictures of the food that was oh so great (and not so great) from my recent trip. You can try them out (if you haven't yet).

My Favorite :

Giovanni's Shrimp Truck at North Shore.

Its Oh so garlicky Shrimp smothered in butter (not for those on a diet). $12 for a plate of 12 shrimps and 2 scoops of rice.

Cheap Eats:

 Rainbow Drive Inn at Waikiki

The mixed plate for $7.25 and the Loco Moco for less than that is cheap compared to everything else in Waikiki.

Not so sure what the buzz is about:

 Leonard's Bakery

People fall in line for their famous Malasada's - but I don't get it. For $0.90 each - these Portugese doughnuts taste like those fritters I used to buy in front of my elementary school and they were way cheaper.. No - I take it back - those I bought from the Manang in front of my school tasted way better.
