Walgreens this week 8/8

I have not shopped at a Walgreens but this week I'm going to give it a try. I need to register with their rewards program - but that shouldn't be too difficult.

Anyways - here are some interesting deals I found

1. Pyrex Ultra Concentrate 50 oz on sale $1.99 (other stores sell this for $4.00).use $0.50 coupon from last Sundays paper to get it for $1.49

2. Expo Marker $0.99 2 pack. Print and use $2/2 coupon from coupons.com to get 2 for FREE.(print 2 coupons and get 4 FREE. Now what to do with the extra markers? - do a nice thing and donate it to your local public school)

3. Simply Lemonade $1.99 use in ad coupon. No MC but this is a great price if you like Lemonade


4. Tostitos or Frito Lay Chips $6/2 get FREE Frito Lay Dip or Salsa wyb 2

5. TRESemme Hair Care. $15/4. Use 4 $1 off coupon from 7/31 Red plum insert. Pay $11 get $5 register rewards. Only $1.50 each.(max 1 register coupon per offer) (or Sign  Up here to get coupons)

6. Aussie or Herbal Essences Hair Care $3 use $1 off coupon from 8/7 Red Plum insert. Pay $2 get $1 in RR, final price $1.00

7. Listerine Smart Rinse 500 ml. $3 use $1 off coupon from 7/31 Smart Source insert or register  here  to get $1 off coupon. Pay $2 get $2 RR = FREE

8. Keri Lotion $5.99 get $5 RR it's like paying $0.99 ( Free if you have the $2 coupon from 7/25 or get coupon from here )


TIP. Purchase the items with RR first and use it to pay for your next transaction.

Cost $20.99 less $6 in coupons, pay $14.99 get $10 register rewards

Transaction#2.
4 packs of expo markers
1 bot of Herbal Essence Shampoo
1 Listerine Smart Wash
2 containers of Purex laundry Detergent

Cost $17.92 less $7 in coupons, use $10 RR from trans#1, pay $0.92 get $3 RR

Transaction #3
2 bags of tostitos
1 frito lay salsa
Cost $9, buy 2 get 1 free and use $3 RR from transaction #2, pay $3.00

Total amount paid $ 18.91. Total product cost $44.91. Total savings of $26 or 58%. You can save much more if you don't buy the lemonade and the tostitos but I regularly use them at home so this is ok for me. (if you took out trans#3, payment will be $15.91 less $3 RR for future purchase = net $12.91 for $38.91 worth of products or 67% savings)
